Is your cellular network overloaded? Your data volume exhausted? No reception? Don’t want to spend high roaming costs abroad?

firstep is especially designed for the use case, where the visual contact to your friends is blocked and where you have no possibility to reach them, eventhough they are very close to you.

At overcrowded locations, where the cellular network is overloaded, like in the soccer stadium or at concerts, firstep helps you to maintain communication in your vicinity thanks to Bluetooth and/or WiFi, without requiring an internet connection or any network reception.

The range amounts from 10 up to 50 meters depending on obstacles. But with the help of other users in the vicinity, it can be theoretically enhanced unlimitedly, so that an own temporal and location-dependent network accrues. firstep enables you to chat with individual users in your vicinity without requiring their contact data. Of course, you can block any user to prevent unwanted messages.

Absolutely no data is sent to the internet. Not even for statistics or bug reports.
